Duties include ensuring our guests requiring assistance while in the factory are provided for in a courteous and professional manner. Must be relaiable and have the ability to stand/walk for up to four hours.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Escorting guests needing to avoid the steps to and from balconies who are in need of special assistance
- Ensuring that children are not being lifted or climbing on the railings
- Escorting guests to and from restrooms as needed
Volunteers are asked to work a minimum of 4 hours a week, with a one year commitment, due to our training requirements.

Description
The Institute of Flight is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit that serves as the operator of the Future of Flight Aviation center and Boeing Tour facility, which is owned by Snohomish County.
Our role is to strengthen and deepen the visitor experience and provide hands-on STEAM related educational programs to Snohomish County students. We are able to achieve this due to the generosity of our partners, sponsors, members and donors.
The Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour debuted in Fall 2005 as a unique aviation interpretive center and the home of the Boeing Tour, their Everett WA assembly plant.
The Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour offers a remarkable opportunity to see both commercial jet production today and the direction aviation is headed in the future. The Future of Flight Aviation Center Gallery features hands-on exhibits, videos, meeting and conference space and spectacular viewing of planes from that take-off and land at Paine Field on a daily basis.
