Using computers is a new thing for many residents of Pathway Homes. Please volunteer to work one-on-one with a resident as they learn basic computer skills. Help them understand Microsoft Word Typing on the Computer, Other basic Computer Skills Volunteers are needed one day a week, for any 2 hour period between the time of 10am and 5pm to assist a resident as he or she learns how to use a computer. With basic knowledge of computers and a willingness to aid adults living with mental illness, you could make a life long difference for a Pathway Homes resident. Volunteers should have patience and a willingness to work with each resident. Some may not know how to type yet. Some may not understand how to use a mouse. Others might be steller at both of those skills but have no idea how to use Microsoft Word. Training for the volunteer will be provided.

Pathway Homes is a non-profit organization providing non-time-limited housing and support services to adults with mental illness. Pathways serves individuals throughout Fairfax County, the City of Fairfax, the City of Falls Church, Prince William County and Arlington.
