Arguably, the most impactful program offered by the ECC is the English as Second Language (ESL) Program. The Center’s classes have ushered hundreds of students, often beginning at a basic level of English comprehension, to proficiency and beyond. Students receive rigorous in-class instruction and out of class support, namely tutoring. Our volunteer tutors serve as 'homework buddies’ and 'conversation partners’ to motivated and dedicated ESL students. Tutors may further aid thier students by helping them create resumes and apply to online jobs.
