We are a hospice that takes care of people with end of life illness. My volunteers will sit with are patients and do care giver relief , or make friendly visits on a regular basis. All of the volunteers have gone through a training, and have background checks. They have also receive the TB vaccine every year, our nurses do that. .. We have been the community for 11 years. And we have grown because of "word of mouth" we do not advertise . We take care of a family and they recommend us to their friends. Some of my best volunteers are family members of our patients. Volunteering for Southerncare Hospice can be very rewarding. .We need volunteers in Hermitage , New Castle, Mercer,Cranberry,Beaver area.
