Volunteers Need; Interested in gaining experience approaching people online, schmoozing and telemarketing.

Hello, My Name is Barbara O. and I am the Executive Director of the P. Luna Foundation. My home office is located in San Bruno, CA. Our Mission: To prevent the cycle of child abuse and crime through awareness, education and breaking the taboo about the imperative need for young males who were childhood victims of abuse to seek help.

I have a huge data base that is over 20 years old with addresses, numbers, etc. I need volunteers to help me piece through these contacts and locate them (online or offline), see if they are still interested in following the charity’s work and have them either give their email address, mailing address or follow us on Facebook or Twitter. That simple!

No experience necessary but someone who wishes to gain school credit or someone who wishes to have extracurricular work listed on their resume would benefit from this rewarding volunteer job. Or, if you wish to make an impact on the great cause of helping abused males, it is very gratifying work for anyone interested. An outgoing personality is a plus since you will be doing cold contacting in many cases.

We can do this work on Friday afternoons/nights or if you have other times available, we can work that out too.
