Opportunity: Donate, Prepare and Serve once per month to seniors in Escondido. This is an ongoing oppurtunity; It is availabe to individuals or groups interested on a consistant monthly basis and is not suitable for groups looking for a one-time service event. Purpose/Goal of Position: Support The Salvation Army in serving low income elder adults/seniors by providing an on-site meal to senior individuals at the Escondido Corps community center once per month. Qualifications/Skills/Certifications Needed: 1. Excellent customer service 2. A heart for working with senior individuals 3. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and boundaries as required and appropriate Duties/Responsibilities: 1. Volunteers will purchase and prepare a meal to be served to 30 individuals. 2. Volunteers will portion and serve the meal to low income seniors at the Escondido Corps community center. 3. Volunteers will clean up and dispose of trash as needed
