Theraputic Volunteer Needed

ORGANIZATION: Parsons Child and Family Center

  • 16 people are interested

Work directly with a child, on a regular basis. These volunteers must be adults(24 and older) who have previous experience working with children who have suffered trauma and/or behavioral health issues. They must also be able to make a minimum of one year commitment. This could involve going to the movies, visiting a park, playing basketball, and being a consistent resource for a child in need of support.

We currently have 3 youth looking for a theraputic one on one.


* 16 year-old female

Female volunteer for young woman interested in arts and crafts, reading and music.

* 14 year-old male

Male volunteer for young man interested in sports, music and video games.

* 12 year-old male

Male volunteer for young man interested in playing basketball, reading and video games.
