Warren County Disaster Action Team Member - American Red Cross
Respond to home fires and other disasters in and around Warren County, NY as a member of the Red Cross Disaster Action Team! Be on-call to initiate client casework and provide Red Cross services for disaster-caused needs such as shelter, food, clothing, medication replacement, and emotional support. Fire scene experience desired but not required.
Other duties & Information
- Be the first-in on moderate and large-scale Red Cross disaster responses to open and staff shelters or provide disaster assessment
- 12-hour on-call shifts required
- Attend monthly team meetings
- Attend required training
- Must clear a criminal background check
- Vehicle, cell phone and email address strongly suggested
