Long Range Planning (and New Membership recruitment)

Grants Coordinator -- Research new grant opportunities, write grant applications, represent SBIC at grant meetings, follow-up reporting

Fundraising Coordinator -- (Spring and Fall Concerts, Pancake Breakfasts, 20/20, etc.)

Food Pantry Deputy/Alternate - Help with overall management of the Food Pantry

Tangible Aid Coordinator -- Help with overall management of the Tangible Aid program. Help with requests for tangible aid, for example, Powerstat, emergency housing and financial assistance.

Database Specialist - Set up computer access to Brunswick FamilyAssistance (BFA) database and generating reports for Food Pantry and Tangible Aid, training SBIC volunteers how to use, quality control of data input to the BFA system.

Description

The South Brunswick Interchurch Council (SBIC) is the collegial effort of 20 local churches that covenanted together since 1985 in accordance with the belief that God calls us all to work together. SBIC is a powerful tool for outreach in the community and serves an area reaching from the South Carolina border to approximately Supply. We address issues of community concern from the perspective of our faith and we help to meet the needs of the citizens in our own community and beyond.
