The CR Smith Museum preserves the history of American Airlines and the air transportation industry. Through its activities, the museum serves active and retired American Airlines employees, the educational community and interested members of the general public. Because of the museum’s commitment to education, its exhibits stress hands-on learning through hands-on displays. The museum collects artifacts and archival materials that are suitable for its educational and exhibit programs.
The CR Smith Museum needs your help! Our volunteers play an integral part in the Museum's success. .We have several essential volunteer jobs avaliable at our museum that include: Greeter and Exhibit Gallery Attendants and Flight Simulator Pilots.

The CR Smith Museum is much more than a museum. It’s a sight-and-sound, hands-on, window-seat look at the world of flight. It’s an adventure offering you a chance to hear, see, touch and be a part of the exciting aviation industry. Best of all, it’s a great place for the entire family - or any group - to enjoy time and time again.
