ORGANIZATION: Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
  • 8 people are interested

With your help, we can make a difference in the fight against poverty in our community.

We can help the single mom who is working hard to make ends meet. We can help our neighbor who has fallen unexpectedly on hard times. We can help the veteran who came back home but was unprepared for civilian life. We can help the older adult who just wants to stay active and alive, despite getting older.

With your help, we can help so many people get out of the cycle of poverty.

As a volunteer, you’ll get an event t-shirt along with access to the continental breakfast.

Here are just a few of the many volunteer opportunities available for Outpace Poverty 2014:

  • Setup and cleanup crew
  • Water station staff
  • Check-in table administrators
  • Course monitors
  • Breakfast table hospitality
  • Volunteers will need to be at the volunteering site between 5 a.m. and 6 a.m. or for post-event clean-up starting at 10 a.m.
