HELP! Our teen shelter is in need of a cook. SafeHouse of the Desert is a shelter for teens in crisis from the ages of 11-17. We have food, just need someone who knows how to cook and enjoys cooking. The kids love our volunteers and food. It’s a win win.
You would be giving back to the community and helping our youth. Sometimes we have kids who like to help with the meals.

Mission Statement
Operation SafeHouse, with community support, provides emergency shelter, intervention and outreach services to runaway, homeless, and other youth in crisis. SafeHouse Offers youth positive alternatives to becoming victims of the streets.
Description
We are a shelter for youth at risk, in crisis, or a runaway. SafeHouse of the Desert will provide a critical alternative to young people whose lives are in turmoil. We have a 3 or 4 week program. Our 4 week program is our drug and alcohol program. Our goal is to keep the family unit together.
Age range is from 11 to 17.
