Boys Hope Girls Hope of the San Francisco Bay Area is a non-profit organization with community-based programs for youth who come from situations of significant need. We are seeking mentors for our community-based program, Hope Academy, to work either one-on-one or in a group setting with our scholars, who range from 7th to 12th grade. The mission of Boys Hope Girls Hope is to help academically capable and motivated children-in-need to meet their full potential and become men and women for others by providing value-centered, family-like opportunities and education up to -- and through -- college. To learn more about our organization, visit www.bhghsf.org. As a mentor, you will develop relationships with our scholars and serve as a role model. We are seeking mentors who can commit to spending 3 hours a week with our children. Your schedule can be flexible during the week (the program runs Mon-Thu from about 3-8pm) and will include 1-2 Saturdays a month). We are located at Archbishop Riordan High School, 175 Frida Kahlo Way, San Francisco, CA, directly across from CCSF. BART and MUNI lines run close by. Ultimately, BHGH-SF aims to help each of our scholars graduate from high school and go on to college. Our goal is to see every child we serve develop academically, personally, and emotionally. This is a great opportunity to build relationships with our youth and make a difference in their lives!

Take the first step in volunteering with us at BHGH and fill out a volunteer interest form below and if you have any questions please feel free to contact our Scholar Success Manager Kevin at crcsf@bhghscholar.org
