Do you love horses? Do you enjoy working with individuals with special needs?
We need volunteers to assist with our Reinbow Riders evening lessons! Prior experience is welcomed, but not required! Just show up ready to work and learn!
Reinbow Riders is an equine-assisted therapy program that works with the special needs population. We are always looking for volunteers who are willing to assist with lessons. Our lessons cannot run without your help! Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting riders in grooming/tacking horses
- Leading/walking alongside horses to assist riders
- Assisting instructor during lessons
- General barn maintenance
Classes are held Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:00pm - 8:00pm , and Saturdays from 9:00am - 4:00pm .
We have a covered arena, so classes are held rain or shine. We will be outdoors, so please dress weather accordingly. Closed-toed shoes are a must!
Volunteer trainings held every Tuesday from 5-7pm.

Description
The Tri-State Therapeutic Riding Center (TSTRC) provides equine-assisted therapies and recreation to individuals of all ages with physical, mental, and emotional disabilities. Conveniently located off Interstate 75 at the Tri-State Exhibition Center, we are the only PATH International Center in the Chattanooga area. Serving over 200 riders annually, our mission is to provide the opportunity for all indivdiuals to participate and benefit from the equestrian sport. TSTRC offers a variety of programs, including Reinbow Riders (special needs), Taking the Lead (at-risk youth), Horses & Heroes (veterans), and Reinbow Rehabilitation (hippotherapy).
