Renaissance Senior Apartments participates in a special program provided by the Toledo Seagate Food Bank. This program provides non-perishable food boxes once per month to qualified residents. These boxes consist of dry milk, pasta, juice, canned goods and cereal.
This is a monthly event on the fourth Thursday of every month between 9:30-10:30 am.
We are currently in need of volunteers who have the necessary transportation to accommodate picking up the food boxes in downtown Toledo and delivering them our property also located in downtown Toledo. Typically there are between 20-25 boxes per month. Box dimensions: 16"x12"x12". These will fit reasonably in a mini-van with the seats down, the bed of a pick-up truck, box van or other large vehicle.
