"Mystery at the Museum"
Girl Scouts need camp-in volunteers!
There's a mystery afoot at the Science Spectrum! Help us crack the case using the methods of professional forensic scientists. We'll sharpen our observational skills, dust for fingerprints with magnetic powder, and conduct scientific tests on fibers and blood.
Volunteers will facilitate various demonstration activities located throughout the Science Spectrum. They will help set up, participate in, and take down materials and help ensure the safety and security of the girls. Each volunteer should bring a flashlight, sleeping bag, pillow, toothbrush and toothpaste. The Science Spectrum will provide a late-night snack and drink. A continental breakfast will be provided by the Science Spectrum.

Girl Scouts is the world’s preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls--all girls--where, in an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adult volunteers, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives, like leadership, strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth.
Founded in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low, Girl Scouts' membership has grown from 18 members in Savannah, Georgia, to 3.2 million members throughout the United States, including U.S. territories, and in more than 92 countries through USA Girl Scouts Overseas
