Cherish Our Children International is seeking a volunteer or two to assist with public relations and media coverage for our programs and fundraising events. This would involve creation and distribution of press releases on a local and national basis, and PR via social media. This is a great opportunity to build your portfolio and track record while helping the world’s most vulnerable children.
Skills needed: Public relations writing, media contacts, social media skills across a wide range of sites. Ability to convey the story of our programs in a "newsy" way, not just pro-forma announcements.
Experience needed: minimum 2 years experience in a public relations agency or in-house industry position.
Will report to: Executive Director, marketing team director
