The Earth Day Clean-up is more than just a day of litter and graffiti removal; it is a day to meet your neighbors, build community and celebrate at the Golden Garbage Awards!
Join us April 18 th, 2015 (Earth Day Weekend) to help us clean up the Alberta Street corridor of graffiti, litter and other unsightly blemishes! With your help we can ensure that NE Alberta looks great for another year. We will provide refreshments in the morning as well as a celebration with prizes from Alberta Street businesses and food at the end of the clean up! Check in the morning of the event at Alberta Central - the courtyard between Umpqua Bank (1745 NE Alberta St Portland, OR 97211) and Barista at NE 18th Avenue and Alberta Street - there you will be assigned a section of Alberta Street between MLK and 33rd Avenue.
Please bring your own water bottle, gloves and any tools that will aid in clean up - some helpful tools include step ladders, flat head screwdrivers, pliers, razor blade scrapers.

Alberta Main Street is a volunteer-driven 501(c)3 nonprofit community and economic development organization focused on intentional and equitable neighborhood scale economic development between NE 10th and NE 31st Avenues in Portland, Oregon. We work with commercial property and business owners, surrounding residents, and community partners to develop Alberta Street as a vibrant, creative, equitable, and sustainable commercial district serving residents and visitors to our community.
