ORGANIZATION: Move For Hunger

Move For Hunger was established to strengthen the efforts of our communities’ food banks, while actively engaging in America’s hunger fight. By using our unique knowledge and experience, Move For Hunger will leverage its existing national network of transportation companies to create one of the nation’s largest, year-round service programs.

Help Move For Hunger spread the word about an awesome event! We need volunteers to help us spread the word about our event, The Jersey Shore Truck Pull, that we are hosting at The Headliner on Saturday, September 13th. We are looking for people to help out the week of August 18th through September 12th to promote this event in the surrounding towns with flyers and post cards. Move For Hunger, a 501(c) (3), is working to end hunger and food waste in America. Nearly 42 million Americans struggle with hunger while 35% of the food produced in this country goes to waste. By mobilizing moving companies, multifamily apartment communities, corporations, and volunteers, Move For Hunger has delivered more than 27 million pounds of food to food banks - providing 23 million meals for those in need.
