The Garden City Library is looking for a handful of tech coach volunteers to help patrons with technology related questions. This would include e-readers and tablets, basic computer help, microsoft office help, library databases and catalogs, etc. Tech coach volunteers must be willing to learn and patient when teaching. Ages between 14-20 years old preferred. Volunteers must be willing and able to commit a minimum of 2 hour per week.
Make a difference by helping library patrons with basic computer skills such as setting up an email address, learning how to use word processing, completing on-line applications, etc. The Garden City Library is in need of a few dedicated computer coaches to come in for weekly shifts and share their technical skills on the computer.

To provide support to library staff by assisting patrons with the following basic tasks:
* Logging in to the public Internet computers
* Using the Sign-up station
* Using the Internet
* Creating/printing documents
* Using copy machines among other related tasks
Tech volunteers will allow library reference staff to focus on answering research and informational questions. Brief training is provided.
