Supplemental food boxes are distributed to over 100 pregnant women, new families, and low income seniors each month. The volunteer assistant will check in people when they arrive to pick up their donation and give out food boxes. Help make a direct impact on our most vulnerable populations by providing them with nutritious food.
Qualifications.
- Must be 18 years old.
- Able to treat everyone and every situation in a friendly manner.
- Handle several tasks simultaneously.
- Able to lift boxes of food and be active for several hours at a time.
- Spanish language skills helpful, but not necessary.
- Must maintain confidentiality.
Availability.
Volunteers are required to attend distribution days which are the third Monday of each month from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, and the third Tuesday of each month from 9:30 am - 11:30 am.

Volunteers serve their neighbors in need through programs such as a food shelf, Clothes Closet thrift store, holiday assistance, and much more. At Neighbors, all donations and volunteer service directly supports the local community.
