The Neighbors’ Food Shelf provides fresh produce straight from the market stand to over 50 families per day. Fruits and vegetables help to supplement the nonperishable food items a family receives. Individuals and groups collect food donations from vendors and transport donations to Neighbors. Your generosity will help Neighbors serve families in need.
Availability.
Volunteer for one or more of the shifts listed below. Locations and dates are:
- Veterans Memorial Community Center (8055 Barbara Ave, Inver Grove Heights, MN 55077) - Sundays, 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
- Wakota Federal Credit Union (1151 Southview Blvd, South St Paul, MN) - Wednesdays, 3:00 - 6:30 pm
- Signal Hills Shopping Center (1201 S Robert St, St Paul, MN 55118) - Fridays, 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Description
Since 1972, Neighbors, Inc. has ensured that all people in the northern Dakota County live hopeful, independent and self-sufficient lives. Volunteers serve their neighbors in need through programs such as a food shelf, Clothes Closet thrift store, holiday assistance, and much more. At Neighbors, all donations and volunteer service directly supports the local community.
