Looking for adults are 55 plus.
Mentor a Framingham High School sophomore at risk of not realizing his/her full potential in school and life through an organization whose mission is to enable youths at risk to become adults of promise. The organization recruits, trains, and supports adult volunteer mentors to act as role models and guides for vulnerable high school students. Volunteers provide young people with the support they need to take control of their lives, set and achieve goals, graduate from high school, prepare to apply for college or other post-secondary training, and experience success. Goal achievement awards include lap top computers for the college research goal and, upon graduation, a $2,000 scholarship.
