Life Choice / Hospice Compassus seeks alternative therapy volunteers of all kinds; people who are kind-hearted and compassionate. We are looking specifically in Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Philadelphia Counties, PA for individuals and organizations to participate in their engaging Tapestries program. As little as one hour a week is helpful, and arrangements can be customized to accommodate each volunteer’s personal schedule.

Our Tapestries program is an end-of-life care program designed to help those whose lives are touched by Alzheimer’s and other dementias. This program offers holistic interventions, incorporating the Namaste approach. This program utilizes Reiki, pet therapy, music, massage therapy and aromatherapy. Our goal is to serve our patients by creating comforting experiences for them, while assisting their loved ones in finding meaning, solace and support throughout their journey. Through their commitment to hospice, volunteers can impact patients in extraordinary ways. Volunteer training will be provided to make sure each volunteer is given the instruction needed to guarantee a positive experience.
