At Shingle Creek Elementary 100% of our students are living at or below the poverty level. Due to lack of resources and role models, some of our students have fallen behind academically. You can impact a child's life in a lasting, positive way while taking advantage of a professional development oportunity.All we ask is for 30 minutes of your time per week(2 hours/month)to give to a child, you choose the days and times. Our mentors are matched with an individual student and receive onsite training and support. Mentors also reaceive cool benefits, such as discounts from several school partners.
