The Valinda's Farmer's Market is re-launching at Rimgrove Park after a 2 year hiatus, and we need your help to bring fresh produce and cooking classes to the residents of Valinda, La Puente, and the greater San Gabriel Valley. We are featuring three Certified farmers with veggies and friuits grown right here in Central and Southern California, hot prepared food like Korean BBQ, and local artisans with jewelry and handmade crafts.
Volunteers will be assisting with setup/teardown of the market, customer service, grounds maintenance, and marketing/outreach.
We are looking for volunteers of all ages and all skill levels. This is perfect for any students on summer break or other residents with time on their hands and the willingness to bring a healthy community event to Valinda.
