Mercer County volunteers use their talents to create lap blankets for our terminally ill patients. Many of our patients enjoy the warmth and comfort a blanket can provide. We find the best size blanket is 36" by 36"--large enough to cover a lap, yet small enough to not get stuck in wheelchair wheels. The stitch and color are up to you, the artist!

Embracing HospiceCare is a family owned and operated company that has been servicing central and southern New Jersey since 2002.
Our team of experts provide hospice services wherever the patient resides - at home, in nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. This team is made up of physicians, nurses, certified home health aides (CHHAs), social workers, chaplains, and - of course - volunteers.
Volunteers are vital to the care we provide. Are you interested in making a difference in someone’s life? Here are some of the ways you can help:
