Habitat for Humanity Lakeside needs semi-skilled and skilled construction volunteers to help us carefully, lovingly take old buildings apart! We use the materials we salvage for resale and recycling through our ReStore in Sheboygan. The salvage and sale of these materials serves to support our Mission to build houses, communities and hope for the people in Sheboygan County and around the world. A typical DeConstruction takes between 3 days and one week to complete. Whether you offer one day or are there for an entire project, your knowledge of construction and willingness to painstakingly take things apart is badly needed for our DeConstruct team!
