Activity Leader: Will implement the activity among a rotation of 3 groups. Total time hour and half. Activities to lead are: Bible Study, Crafts, Cooking, and Movement Minutes.
Reading Volunteer: Help once a week or everday. Partner with a child one on one or two on one. Read with them, listen to them, help them become better readers. Total time hour and half.
Group Leader: Will have a homeroom group. Will be guiding children to and from activities, responsible for staying with assigned group during activities, restroom breaks, ecouraging safe, Christian behavior, helping them get their lunch, interact with children. (volunteer once a week, entire week, or entire 5weeks program from 10am to 1pm)
Group Leader Assistant: Will help Group Leader with his/her responsibilities. (volunteer once a week, entire week, or entire 5weeks program from 10am to 1pm)

Description
Rising Stars Summer Camp is a fun focused five week summer camp. Axe Memorial United Methodist Church will serve students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Growing and developing during the summer is essential for our young people. Our program will provide a fun and safe place for elementary school students during the summer. The program will have positive interaction with caring adult role models and promote and develop life skills, respect for others, and positive social interaction. The students will engage in personal development through craft, bible study, music, reading, cooking, and recreational activity.
