The Loading Dock Assistant will serve as an aide to the Warehouse Manager, responsible for assisting donors with unloading donated product from their vehicles , weighing product , and providing signed receipt ( as required/requested).

Within this Volunteer assignment the duties will include but are not limited to:

1. Weighing grocery product

2. Recording poundage on a receipt

3. Submitting completed receipt to the Clients, Donors, Warehouse Manager, etc.

4. Work with warehouse staff in the pulling of orders. (If required)

5. Greeting Clients, Donors, and Agencies with courtesy and respect

6. Perform other task(s) such as operation of pallet jack (as required)

The Loading Dock Assistant will also serve as an Ambassador to the Foodbank; while supporting its mission and goals by ensuring positive experiences for our contacts, customers and clients‐‐‐internal and external.
