Cook or Order a meal for delivery to support Housing Families' efforts to end family homelessness. Each month Housing Families hosts various workshops, and groups for family who are homeless or who have recently experienced homelessness. Providing these families with a meal during theses meetings would allow them to not have to worry about that meal for the day. These events occur regularly at the end of each month.

To provide homeless families with temporary and permanent housing on a non-profit basis. To meet, promote and advocate for the social, physical and psychological needs and rights of homeless people in the local area.
Description
Housing Families Inc. (formerly Tri-City Family Housing) provides emergency shelter and permanent housing to families in Malden, Medford, Everett, Revere and Chelsea. We offer support, counseling and advocacy for the families in our program. We have a children's program with play groups, therapeutic arts, one-on-one counseling and a tutoring program. Many of the groups are late afternoon/early evening.
We provide shelter for 54 families, case management, housing search, support groups and a children's program. The Children's Program consists of tutoring and therapeutic children's groups. We seek volunteers to help for an hour or two a week with the tutoring program. We also need volunteers to watch pre-school children in the mornings in a play group.
