This is an opportunity to practice your people skills. At some mobile blood drives, site recruitment of donors is necessary. We never guilt, or shame anyone into donating. We simply share the need for blood donors, educate on the different ways to donate, and encourage potential donors. If you are passionate about what we do (saving lives), have ever wanted to be a super hero, or just want to refine your people skills, this may be just the opportunity for you. You will be trained on the fine art of donor recruitment.

Description
OneBlood is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization responsible for providing safe, available, and affordable blood to 213 hospital partners and their patients in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.
OneBlood was established on January 27, 2012 when three of Florida’s independent, not-for-profit blood centers, Community Blood Centers of Florida, Inc. (CBCF), Florida’s Blood Centers, Inc. (FBC) and Florida Blood Services, Inc. (FBS) came together in a merger of equals.
The service area of OneBlood includes most of Florida and some parts of Southern Georgia and Alabama. OneBlood is one of only seven blood centers in the US designated to provide blood to our military when needed.
Our name, OneBlood, is a constant reminder that patient’s lives depend on the work that we do. We do not take our responsibility lightly.
