Share your computer and mobile device skills with novice users. Be part of a team that is helping to bridge the digital divide in our community. Seeking tech savvy volunteers to provide one-on-one instruction at a Technology Fair for Older Adults. The event will provide a comfortable, supportive atmosphere for older adults to learn about cellphones, laptops, Ereaders and more. There will be lectures for more advanced users and computer workshops for beginners.

Key responsibilities for volunteers will be to provide one-on-one instruction with individuals at your assigned station on devices, applications and/or internet sites. If applicable, please bring your own device to demonstrate to the participants. Potential stations to volunteer for are: Smartphones/cell phones; Laptops/notebooks; What to buy; Ereaders/tablets; iPODS/MP3 players; Health information; Dating; Saving money; Research/accessing;resources and Lifestyle (recipes/food/fitness); YouTube; Setting up Email; Social Media; Skyping/Facetime and Password management

We also need volunteers to help with the event registration, guides and floaters.(non-tech skills required)
