Mission Statement

The mission of The Career Action Plan Group is to provide computer training and technology certification for educationally and economically disadvantaged adult learners and youth.

Description

Established in 1999, we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to computer technology training. Our rigorous and unique training style and results-driven approach is effective for all learners. We provide learners with powerful tools for innovative and creative communication in the workplace and for community service. We aim to prepare learners for tangible employment opportunities and to develop community-based partnerships.

We develop employment and entrepreneurial skills by training learners in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

We are a Certiport Testing Center, licensed to administer the Microsoft Office Specialist certification exams, the globally recognized standard for desktop proficiency. We maximize learning experiences and empower individuals to transform their lives and their communities. We adopt "real-time" community-based projects.
