Enjoy a fun-filled, family-friendly day at the Kemah Boardwalk featuring exhibits and activities that celebrate all that Galveston Bay has to offer! Bring your friends and family to our free Bay Day celebration. You’ll have opportunities to see and touch local wildlife, create your own Galveston Bay-themed crafts and keepsakes, and learn all about Galveston Bay in a single day! Description
The Galveston Bay Foundation was established in 1987 in response to great need to focus on the vitality of Galveston Bay. The bay and its tributaries are aestetically and economically important in many ways, including but not limited to commerical and recreational fishing, tourism, transportation, and ecosystem services.
