ORGANIZATION: Gadsden County Humane Society

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.
Liz

As the Gadsden County Humane Society (GCHS) does not have its own facility, we rely on many volunteers who provide a foster home for cats and dogs waiting for their forever home.

GCHS provides veterinary care, pet food, medications, and other support or resources for animals in the program.

A foster volunteer provides affection and care that helps animals adjust in a home environment, and is encouraged to expose them to a variety of social settings. Foster volunteers are asked to commit to taking their animals--or coordinating their transport--to adoption booths or fairs (most are at Petsmart) at least once a month.
