The A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club is looking for individuals to serve as mentors at our Dr. Kirkwood R. Balton Unit in Birmingham, Alabama or Southside Homes unit in Bessemer, Alabama any day Monday thru Friday to spend quality time in a positive environment with our members at least once per month, getting to know our members on a personal level and assisting them with day to day obstacles and pressures. Background check and online and on-going training required. A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club has operated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization since 1966. It is affiliated with Boys & Girls Clubs of America, a nationwide organization of nearly 4,000 Clubs with a similar core mission of serving some four million children and teens through Club membership and community outreach.
