DATABASE VOLUNTEER TEAM
Berkeley Humane’s Development Department has an exciting volunteer opportunity for individuals who enjoy the meticulous and instantly gratifying work of entering data into a database! If you love Berkeley Humane, and prefer to work quietly behind the scenes to help us fulfill our mission, this opportunity is for you!
By helping us keep up with our data management, you enable Berkeley Humane to operate as efficiently as possible! Donors’ information will be kept up-to-date and accurate in our database, so that they will receive thank you notes promptly and continue to support our mission of saving lives.
Database volunteers will be entering donations into individual donor records. An understanding of computers and the general configuration of databases is required, along with attention to detail and a drive for accuracy. Volunteers will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement. There will not be any cash handling involved in these duties.
We are seeking 3-4 volunteers to each perform 2 hour shifts on weekdays in our offices. The timings of these shifts are flexible, but morning availability is preferable.
If you are interested in joining our data entry team, please contact us to schedule training and determine your availability.
