Volunteers are an essential fiber in the fabric of the Center. They play a vital role in helping the children and their families feel comfortable and safe during difficult times.
Volunteer duties include:
- Working at the Center as a greeter
- Answering and transfering phone calls
- Helping clients fill out paperwork
- Watching children while their guardians aren't available
- Help with fundraisers
- Assisting with light housekeeping
- General clerical assistance
- Assitance with other duties and projects as they come up
The WCCAC is open Monday-Friday, 8am-6pm. Our volunteer shifts are 3 hours long and we ask for a commitment of 12 hours per month.

Description
The Williamson County Children’s Advocacy Center (WCCAC) is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization that provides a child-sensitive, safe environment for children to report abuse. It is both the PLACE where children come to talk and the PROCESS of bringing together the agencies charged with investigating and prosecuting abuse. We serve children ages 2-17 throughout Williamson County.
