Do you want to make an impact on the lives of girls in your community? By serving as a Series Advisor, you can! For 6-8 weeks, you will work with a group of girls to discover their skills and values, connect with others, and take action to improve their communities and make the world a better place. You'll introduce them to new experiences that show them they're capable of more than they ever imagined. All curriculum and materials will be provided. So start the smiles, the excitement, the memories made--those are the moments you'll share at Girl Scouts.

Description

When people think about Girl Scouts, they think crafts, cookies, and camp but a lot has changed in 103 years. Here at the Girl Scouts, Hornets’ Nest Council our girls get their hands dirty with bugs and bones, put their minds to work on science and engineering projects, challenge their body and minds with challenge courses and 5k’s, help breast cancer patients survive their toughest moments, and build lasting relationships with fellow Girl Scouts. We serve extraordinary girls in Anson, Cabarrus, Mecklenburg, Montgomery, Rowan, Stanly, Union and York counties and we are always in need of extraordinary adults to help our girls reach their full potential. Are you up for it?
