The Youth & Young Adult Engagement Intern will assist with the following projects:
- Marketing and promoting Red Cross Clubs to colleges, high schools and other designated organizations in Maine (marketing materials are already designed).
- Researching youth/young adult engagement programs in other Red Cross regions and assist in developing engagement opportunities in Maine.
- Other minor projects as needed.
Qualifications: Undergraduate or Master's level student with a background in Education, Volunteerism, Community Relations, Marketing or Youth Leadership. Familiarity with Internet search engines, MS Office (primarily Word & Excel) and social media.

Description
The national headquarters of the American Red Cross provides assistance with shaping and leading the organization in our mission and strategic plan. National Headquarters also assists with technical guidance to the many Red Cross units, such as Chapters, Armed Forces Emergency Services Stations and Blood Services regions. These units are responsible for the direct service to the community including disaster response and preparedness, messaging to Armed Forces military and their families, collecting and delivering blood products, teaching health and safety skills and helping reunite families through our international services.
