Homework Tutors
Great Futures Start Here!

The A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club is looking for individuals to serve as tutors at our Dr. Kirkwood R. Balton Unit any day Monday thru Thursday to help with homework and spend quality time in a positive environment with our members. Volunteers serve in our Learning Center and assist with two of our core education programs: Power Hour is our daily program is designed to help Club members become more successful in school by offering homework assistance as well as individual tutoring, and by encouraging a love of learning. The program is free and registration is available at the front desk of your local unit. And Project Learn is a specialized program of the A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club offering members an interactive review of the fundamentals of our major program areas including education, technology, recreation and the arts. Each day members get back to the basics tapping into our Club's resources within our Computer Lab, Learning Lab, Music Room, Art Room, Games Room and Gymnasium to rediscover the joy and fun of learning.
