The Museum could use an archivist to help continue to catalogue our wonderful Springfield Museum collection. An understanding of basic archival methods and filing systems is necessary to learn.
Our collection houses amazing artifacts from the last few hundreds of years. From this collection we create exhibits that educate our community about our shared history. The shows you would help create would be seen by 8,000 visitors annually!
If you are interested in learning about archival methods, but do not have a background, we would love to train you! If you have a passion for historic artifacts and an eye for detail do not hesitate to contact us.
