Join us in keeping high quality art and history education alive! Museum Guides greet and educate visitors to the museum, research exhibits and programs and do general museum administration. Guides can also work on field trips and other educational programs.
We are the only FREE museum in Lane County serving over 8,000 visitors each year. You would be helping to serve community members and visitors at the only museum in the city by guiding visitors and explaining our exhibits as well as providing general support to keep the museum open and thriving downtown.
Museum guides often move to other projects such as archiving, board positions or exhibition research after getting more familiar with the museum. We encourage leadership with all our volunteers!
Guides normally work 1 shift per week, from 10-2 or 2-6pm, at the Museum.
