LifeLong Medical Care provides high-quality health and social services to underserved people of all ages, creates models of care for the elderly, people with disabilities and families, and advocates for continuous improvements in the health of our communities.
LifeLong Downtown Oakland serves a range of patients and provides Primary Health Care for Adults, Chronic Disease Screening and Management, Referrals to Specialists, Mental Health Services, Podiatry, and Social Services Resources.
We are looking for a current nursing student interested in serving long term with our triage team and who is expected to commit a minimum of one year with the clinic. Start and end date may be flexible. We will train this individual with the skills needed to be able to perform assigned tasks to assist patients and clinic flow utilizing NextGen (EPM and EHR). This individual should be dependable and have an interest in community health and the ability to initiate work independently.
This is an unpaid volunteer position with the opportunity to learn and develop skills applicable in future work. Please send any questions, resumes, a cover letter, and projected schedule to dbainto@lifelongmedical.org by Friday, December 5th at 5pm.

LifeLong Medical Care offers a sliding scale for low income patients based on family size and income. No Patient is denied health care services based on inability to pay.
