This year’s Iowa Soul Festival (August 4-5) is looking for people to fill positions assisting with our Green Initiatives, selling merchandise and many other opportunities! With so many options available, it will be easy for everyone to find a position that is just right for them! Volunteer shifts for the Iowa Soul Festival will be available for sign up online in July. If you would like to receive a reminder to sign up once shifts are live, please email volunteers@summeroftheARTS.org. All volunteers will receive a FREE Summer of the Arts Volunteer t-shirt and goodie bag. If interested in donating your time to help bring people together in the heart of Iowa City, to experience, learn about, and enjoy free art and cultural programs and would like to learn more about our volunteer opportunities, please visit the Summer of the Arts website at www.summeroftheARTS.org. Description
Summer of the Arts is a local non-profit organization that works to produce and create a year filled with arts and cultural entertainment in the Iowa City Area. Our festivals and events include: the Iowa Arts Festival, Iowa City Jazz Festival, Friday Night Concert Series, Free Movie Series, the Soul & Blues Festival, and the Holiday Thieves Market.
In addition to individual volunteer opportunities, we also encourage group volunteering, which is a fantastic team building exercise and a positive way to represent your group in the community. Head over to the Volunteer information page on our website to fill out the Group Volunteer Interest Form!
