Members touch base with web masters to upload digital photos taken of animals at our local events.
Volunteers must have good writing skills, computer skills and have a working knowledge of digital photography. They must also practice safe animal handling per LDDR.
Duties include: socializing, visiting, and comforting the animals; posting photos and descriptions animals for adoption on the website according to LDDR policies and procedures; uploading information from home or on a computer at LDDR; and cropping and adjusting pictures for optimal viewing.
Marketing Team members assist by helping create and distributing photoflyers of animals available for adoption, working with the public at outreach events, accompanying and transporting dogs to off-site adoption events, and various other projects.
This position has some animal contact.

Last Day Dog Rescue is a 100% volunteer and NO KILL non profit dog rescue organization. Our focus is on those dogs who are URGENT and on their last day being overlooked by other rescues and unwanted by the general public. We don't discriminate by breed, age, or gender and feel these precious dogs all deserve a second chance at life and to live. We feel there is a loving home and family for every dog we rescue and do all we can to find that for them.
Description
Our rescue depends on foster homes for our dogs, a safe place they can go to once out of the shelter. Without this critical aspect of our rescue program, we would not be able to operate and save lives. Our success is in saving all those we can.
