Job Title: Graphic Design Intern (Summer)
Department: Creative Department
Location: Orlando, Florida
Reports to: Head Graphic Designer
As an Intern at Feeding Children Everywhere, you will get the opportunity to empower and mobilize volunteers at our Hunger Projects. These are large, high-energy events where hundreds to thousands of volunteers package healthy meals to send to hungry children locally and around the world. This internship runs from May 19th to August 15th.
Intern Job Description:
Our Graphic design interns have the exciting role of demonstrating stylistic versatility and balance while designing advertisements, email blasts, web ads, print ads etc. Graphic Design interns have the opportunity to expand our brand and deliver a high impact message to the client and market. This internship is ideal for skilled graphic designers or recent graduates who are looking to learn and be highly challenged by a creative work environment. Some rewarding opportunities as a Graphic Design intern are: Sharing style and creativity on our banners, box truck, website and more, creating work seen by thousands of people globally, and traveling across the US, sharing designs and creative projects.
Intern Job Requirements:
Creating and designing artwork pages to prepare them for print
Knowledgable in print and digital design
Experience in photo retouching
Advanced knowledge of typography, layout and composition, color theory, and use of designs to create powerful images
Develop graphics for websites
Manage and maintain organized graphic files
Develop designs for merchandise products such as: T-shirts, iPhone cases, iPad cases and Tumblers
Develop new print materials such as: brochures, banners, logos, post cards, business cards, etc.
Intern General Qualifications:
Proficient in Adobe Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign
Ability to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Strong concept and design skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Knowledge of Internet and product advertising
Knowledge of cross-browsers
Maintain and brainstorm continuous innovative and trendy ideas for management

Feeding Children Everywhere is a social charity that empowers and mobilizes people to assemble healthy meals for hungry children.
Description
For every one dollar received, Feeding Children Everywhere will package and ship four healthy meals to hungry children around the world. Out of all donations received, 93% of funds go directly to our meal programs and 7% of funds go towards general and administrative expenses. Meal packing events combine the good will of an organization, volunteer participation, and the focused efficiency of the Feeding Children Everywhere meal assembly system. They are practical, fun and most importantly, life-changing. Anyone can participate from business team executives to soccer teams and youth groups. Feeding Children Everywhere can mobilize a small group, or up to thousands of volunteers to make a difference.
