Job Title: Organizational Development Intern (Summer)
Department: Organizational Development
Location: Orlando, Florida
Reports To: VP of Operations
As an Intern at Feeding Children Everywhere, you will get the opportunity to empower and mobilize volunteers at our Hunger Projects. These are large, high-energy events where hundreds to thousands of volunteers package healthy meals to send to hungry children locally and around the world. This internship runs from May 19th to August 15th.
Intern Job Description:
Our Organizational Development interns work side by side with our executive staff facilitating major projects impacting Feeding Children Everywhere. Connecting with stakeholders, task management, organizational skills and communication is a major role of this internship position. This internship position also encourages our interns to use their management skills to assist with day-to-day Feeding Children Everywhere operations. Some rewarding opportunities as a organizational development intern are: connecting with businesses, corporations, schools and clubs to host hunger projects. Lead hunger projects to make impactful decisions for the company and traveling across the US.
Intern Job Requirements:
Applies a structured management approach to daily FCE operations
Work directly with our executive staff
Proactively identify potential risk and ensure that each hunger project will be a success
Research policies, laws and procedures for hunger project locations and facilities
Manage office and administrative task, such as inventory and event planning
Support the execution of executive plans and project schedules
Develop and implement stakeholder involvement, engagement plan, and training plan to ensure effective engagement within the company
Conduct assessments on company operations and provide input on necessary changes
Intern General Qualifications:
Leadership experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Ability to work effectively with people in all levels of the organization
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to influence others to move toward a common vision or goal
Excellent critical thinking skills
Highly organized and task oriented

Feeding Children Everywhere is a social charity that empowers and mobilizes people to assemble healthy meals for hungry children.
Description
For every one dollar received, Feeding Children Everywhere will package and ship four healthy meals to hungry children around the world. Out of all donations received, 93% of funds go directly to our meal programs and 7% of funds go towards general and administrative expenses. Meal packing events combine the good will of an organization, volunteer participation, and the focused efficiency of the Feeding Children Everywhere meal assembly system. They are practical, fun and most importantly, life-changing. Anyone can participate from business team executives to soccer teams and youth groups. Feeding Children Everywhere can mobilize a small group, or up to thousands of volunteers to make a difference.
