The Clinical Services Specialist Intern would be responsible for the management of data that is tracked throughout the HCT/P (Human Cells, Tissues, and Cellular and Tissue-Based Products) program in Salt Lake City, prepare patient charts, and assist with validations of equipment. The intern will also be assigned various other projects to assist them in becoming more knowledgeable about the HCT/P program.

Qualifications: Undergraduate student majoring in Biology or Nursing. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

The national headquarters of the American Red Cross provides assistance with shaping and leading the organization in our mission and strategic plan. National Headquarters also assists with technical guidance to the many Red Cross units, such as Chapters, Armed Forces Emergency Services Stations and Blood Services regions. These units are responsible for the direct service to the community including disaster response and preparedness, messaging to Armed Forces military and their families, collecting and delivering blood products, teaching health and safety skills and helping reunite families through our international services.
